TeeFinder helps you find and compare golf tee times in Dubai. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We've kept it short and readable — no legal jargon.
What We Collect
Waitlist Signup
If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and first name. That's it. We use this to notify you when new features launch and to send occasional updates about TeeFinder.
Browsing Data
We don't track your browsing behavior or use cookies for advertising. We may use basic analytics to understand how people use the site (like which pages are popular), but this data is aggregated and not tied to you personally.
Third-Party Services
Booking Providers
When you click to book a tee time, you're redirected to the golf course's booking provider (such as Viya Golf or Back9). These are separate companies with their own privacy policies. We don't see or store your payment information — that's handled entirely by them.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps to show course locations. Google may collect some data when you view these maps. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Supabase
Our database is hosted on Supabase, a trusted cloud provider. Your data is stored securely and encrypted. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Data
- To send you updates about TeeFinder (if you signed up for the waitlist)
- To improve the website based on aggregate usage patterns
- To respond if you contact us with questions
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to build profiles about you.
Your Rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any email we send
- Request deletion of your data by emailing us
- Ask questions about what data we have about you
Data Retention
We keep your email on our waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We don't keep data longer than necessary.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and secure database hosting. However, no system is 100% secure. We do our best to protect your information but can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For major changes, we'll notify waitlist subscribers by email.
